Good airbrushing technique is the art of doing it without the viewer being aware that it has been done. Many subjects end up looking like wax models after being airbrushed by incapable hands. This photograph required subtle airbrushing to soften shadows, and to remove unwanted skin reflection and blemishes, without losing natural skin texture.
